About me

Here’s the thing…

I didn’t set out to build a personal brand or chase marketing trends.

I spent over 25 years working in marketing, inside real businesses, watching what actually works and what quietly drains time and energy.

That’s why my work focuses on clarity over noise.

Small business owners don’t need louder marketing. They need fewer decisions. And a plan that fits into real life. I’ve worked with corporate teams and owner-operated businesses alike, and the difference is simple: When the owner is doing everything, marketing has to be realistic to be sustainable.

I test before I recommend. I keep things simple on purpose. And I don’t believe marketing should feel like a second full-time job.

Today, I help established small businesses across Ottawa and surrounding communities stay visible, get focused, and put simple systems in place that quietly do their job.

No hype.
No pressure to be everywhere.
Just steady, thoughtful marketing built to support your business and your life.

This is exactly how I work with clients.

Clear strategy first.
Simple execution second.
Ongoing support that keeps things moving without adding more to your plate.

If you’re ready for marketing that feels manageable (and finally makes sense), we should chat.

FAQ: How We Work (and how we make your marketing easier)

The Growth Partner Packages are monthly marketing support packages for small business owners who need a clear plan, fresh content, and someone to help make the marketing happen.

This is not just social media posting.

It includes strategy, content creation, email marketing, blog content, Google Business Profile posts, quarterly promotions, and monthly on-site photo and video capture.

In simple terms: we plan it, create it, and help keep it moving.

These packages are for small business owners who know marketing matters, but don’t have the time, energy, or interest to do it all themselves.

They’re a good fit if you:

  • Want to stay visible and top of mind
  • Need consistent content and marketing support
  • Are tired of guessing what to post or send
  • Want fresh photos and videos from your actual business
  • Need someone who can help with both the plan and the execution

They’re epecially helpful for local, owner-operated businesses that are ready to grow but don’t want marketing to become another full-time job.

Traditional social media management usually focuses on posts.

The Growth Partner Packages go further.

They include a bigger marketing system with social media content, Google Business Profile posts, email blasts, blog content, quarterly promotions, strategy calls, monthly reporting, and on-site content creation.

The goal is not just to “post more.”

The goal is to help your business stay visible, build trust, and create steady marketing momentum.

Yes. Monthly on-site content creation is included in every Growth Partner Package.

That means I come to your business once a month to capture fresh photos and videos that can be used across your social media, email marketing, blog content, Google Business Profile, and promotions.

This helps your marketing feel more personal, current, and connected to your actual business.

No more relying only on stock photos or last-minute content.

Each package includes a mix of planning, content, and execution.

Depending on the tier you choose, your package may include:

  • Social media posts
  • Google Business Profile posts
  • Blog content
  • Email blasts
  • Monthly on-site photo and video capture
  • Quarterly promotions
  • Strategy calls
  • Monthly performance snapshots
  • Campaign support

The higher the tier, the more content, strategy, and hands-on support you receive.

Because marketing needs consistency and momentum.

All Growth Partner Packages require a 6-month commitment so we have enough time to create the plan, execute it properly, test what is working, and build steady visibility for your business.

One month of marketing can help.

Six months gives us time to build a real system.

A quarterly promotion is one focused marketing push every three months.

This could be an online promotion, seasonal offer, event, open house, giveaway, product launch, service feature, customer appreciation campaign, or on-location promotion.

The goal is to give your audience a clear reason to pay attention and take action.

No. That’s the whole point.

You do not need to come up with content ideas, write captions, plan emails, or figure out what to promote next.

I’ll help create the plan, guide the messaging, and turn your business updates, services, offers, and expertise into content that makes sense.

You stay focused on running the business.

A little bit, yes.

This is designed to take marketing off your plate, but I still need your input so the content feels accurate and true to your business.

Usually that means a monthly check-in, answering a few questions, approving content, and making time for the monthly on-site content session.

You won’t be left doing the marketing yourself.

These packages are best for service-based, local, and owner-operated businesses that benefit from staying visible and building trust over time.

Examples include:

  • Professional services
  • Health and wellness businesses
  • Restaurants, cafés, and pubs
  • Real estate and home service businesses
  • Clinics, studios, and local service providers
  • Businesses with a physical location or strong local presence

They work best for businesses that want consistent marketing support, not one-off posts here and there.

Marketing can create early momentum, but it is not a magic switch.

The goal is to build steady visibility, stronger trust, and a more consistent presence so more of the right people remember you, recognize you, and choose you when they are ready.

Some businesses see quick wins through promotions, email marketing, and improved visibility.

The bigger value comes from consistency over time.

No. You do not need to be everywhere.

We’ll focus on the platforms and marketing channels that make sense for your business, your customers, and your goals.

For many local businesses, that means a smart mix of social media, Google Business Profile, email marketing, blog content, and promotions.

Simple. Focused. Manageable.

Yes, but the Growth Partner Packages are designed for businesses that want ongoing support and consistent execution.

One-time strategy or project work may be available depending on availability, but if you want someone to help keep your marketing moving month after month, the Growth Partner Package is the better fit.

It depends on how much content, strategy, and support your business needs.

If you need the essentials covered, the first tier may be enough.

If you want stronger visibility and more regular content, the middle tier is usually the best fit.

If your business has more campaigns, launches, events, services, or growth goals, the highest tier gives you more hands-on support.

The best place to start is with a conversation so we can look at where your business is now and what kind of marketing support will actually help.
